High Fire Danger Wednesday

First Severe T'storms of the Season Possible Today

The combination of ample moisture and an approaching disturbance will likely lead to scattered thunderstorms by mid-late afternoon. A few of these storms could be strong/severe with frequent lightning, quarter-size hail, and locally heavy rainfall the main threats. While we can't rule out an isolated tornado, the best chance (albeit slight) of this occuring would be over Baca County.
