Some additional light snow will fall along and south of HWY 50 this evening. Areas closest to the mountains will pick up an additional inch or two, before it winds down later.
Friday will be a cool, but better day. Highs will end up mainly in the 30s, and lower 40s, with some sunshine.
Another storm system will bring a reinforcing shot of cold air and light snow Friday night and Saturday.. While the snow does not look significant for Colorado Springs or Pueblo, areas south of HWY 50 on the Southeast Plains will pick up some accumulating snow. Even the Palmer Divide could pick up a few inches. It will be very windy too, so blowing snow will be an issue for those that do see the snow. We'll keep you posted.
