While we are not worried about widespread flash flooding, due to how dry it has been, we are concerned that heavy rain on the Waldo Canyon burn area could lead to flash flooding for those that live on or next to the scar. It is imperative that if you live in that area, you stay aware of the weather. We will be on Breaking Weather Alert all weekend, warning folks about the heavy rain and flooding potential.
