A system producing heavy snow in the central mountains arrives in SE Colorado overnight Sunday into Monday bringing moisture, windy conditions and colder temperatures. Snow showers will be possible across the I-25 corridor to start the day. This system will produce bands of snow through the day Monday. Areas under these bands will see periods of heavy snowfall which, with windy conditions, could create travel difficulties. Sun should break out later in the day, with temperatures staying pretty cool. Mid 60s in Colorado Springs, 70 in Pueblo, and cooler temperatures in the mountains.
