Flash Flood Warning Expired for CO Springs and El Paso County

After torrential rainfall on the order of two inches per hour flooded several areas of Colorado Springs, the water has receded. Thus the risk for additional flooding appears to have subsided.

Do not attempt to drive through any flooded roadways, especially at night. This could lead to your vehicle becoming stalled in the flood waters and create a potentially life threatening situation.

Chief Meteorologist Brian Bledsoe
