Central and northeast Colorado Springs was hit by large hail around 6:00 p.m. tonight.

There were numerous reports of marble size hail, with the largest stones reaching golf ball size along Academy and along Powers.

The severe threat looks to be done for tonight. However, strong storms may redevelop on Wednesday afternoon and evening.

Be sure to send us your hail pictures if you have them:

That photo is BS. Educated people can tell the difference between a natural golf ball-sized hailstone (not shown above) and a bunch of pea-sized hailstones packed together (shown above). There were definitely golf ball-sized hailstones in the area, but the above photo is not of one of them.

sorry but i come from kansas and the only hail that would be considered "large" would be the one in the middle of this persons hand. All others i would just consider normal size.

Got pelted in Woodland Park on Sunday by golf-ball size hail. They even had to run the snowplows to clear the streets. My truck looks like honeycomb now.

"... with the largest stones reaching golf ball size along Academy and along Powers." Could you narrow that down a bit? I'd like to know if my house will still be in one piece when I get home from work.
