Possible Flooding Warned for Canon City

The National Weather Service is warning that rapid meltoff in the mountains is causing the Arkansas River to reach flood stage in Canon City by Sunday afternoon.

NWS says the river's expected to crest at 9 feet in Canon City.

Canon City police say they've received no emergency calls regarding flooding, as of 3 p.m. Sunday.
