Moderate snow continues to fall for some areas of northern El Paso and Teller Counties, accumulating in the grass and yards. Meanwhile, in the plains and along the southern I-25 stretch, light rain/snow mix continues. Take it slow on the roadways - due to VERY strong winds, we are seeing blowing dirt and snow (depending on the region), which is tremendously reducing visibility. While snow has ended, roads near and west of I-25 are snow-covered and icy this morning. Be prepared for hazardous conditions on your way out the door this morning. Roads should dramatically improve by mid-late morning thanks to ample sunshine and warming temperatures. Afternoon highs will end up in the 40's.
