Areas of snow will continue across S Colorado tonight, adding to already slick conditions on the roads. Through Friday morning we see snow wind down but the cold hangs on with temperatures only in the teens and wind chill values below or near zero for most of the day. Wind has been gusting throughout southern Colorado Saturday night through this Sunday morning.
The National Weather service says it will stay windy for most of Sunday along Interstate 25. Winds could reach up to 50 m.p.h.
People driving high profile vehicles should be prepared to pull over and wait until the wind to die down.
