SLOW DOWN AND WATCH OUT FOR SLICK ROADS TONIGHT AND THURSDAY MORNING

Light snow will continue tonight, as an upper-level disturbance drops into Western Colorado. While the snow shouldn't be terribly heavy north of HWY 50, some bands of heavier snow will persist south and southwest of Pueblo. Snow is likely to continue tomorrow morning before diminishing from north to south by afternoon.

ADDITIONAL Snow Accumulations Through Thursday:

Dusting to 2": Colorado Springs, Falcon, Peyton, Fountain, Pueblo, Ellicott, Yoder, Rush, Calhan, Ramah, Limon, La Junta, Ordway, Black Forest, Monument, Canon City, Florence, Pueblo West, Woodland Park, Cripple Creek. Isolated 3 to 4" amounts possible on the west and southwest side of Colorado Springs.

4 to 8": Walsenburg, Aguilar, Trinidad, Beulah, Rye, and all of the Wet and Sangre De Cristo Mountains. Isolated higher amounts possible, especially in the Sangre de Cristo Mountains.

The light snow will end from north to south on Thursday morning. Some peaks of sun will be possible by afternoon, as the clouds thin out a bit. It is going to be cold though. Highs will be in the teens and 20's
