The foothills west of Denver got the heaviest snow in this week's autumn snow storm.

The largest accumulation was reported near Pinecliffe in Jefferson County, where 3.8 feet of snow fell. Just over 2 feet of snow fell in Broomfield north of Denver.

In central Colorado, 19.2 inches fell near Buena Vista and in the southwest, 14 inches were reported on the summit of Wolf Creek.

The mountains of western Colorado usually receive the most snow but the National Weather Service says air flow from the north around the storm system brought more to the Front Range this time.
