Nov. 19, 2009 A meteor so bright that it turned the night sky a noontime blue could be seen over Colorado, Utah, Wyoming, and Idaho. Scientists say this was not part of the Leonid Meteor Shower that also could be seen this week.

Nasty travel to be had from the Black Forest area to Franktown. It is snowing like crazy, blowing and very icy. The temperature is running about 25 degrees and there are near whiteout conditions. There were numerous accidents when I came from Franktown less than an hour ago, and if you don't need to head that way tonight, don't!
