Our next storm arrives Sunday... cloudier morning skies and scattered showers make way for more widespread rain by the afternoon... snow for the higher elevations and mountains. Sunday evening into Monday morning offers the best window for locally heavy rain and snow. The mountains will see significant snow. Jacqueline Goodman says these pictures of golf ball-sized hail were taken Monday afternoon in the front yard of her home.
Chief Meteorologist Brian Bledsoe says, a Severe Thunderstorm Watch remains in effect for all of Southeast Colorado until 8pm. Any additional storms will have the potential to become severe, producing large hail, damaging wind, heavy rain and frequent lightning.
