Bands of snow showers will continue through the first half of tonight, before winding down after midnight. The snow will be very light and fluffy, and will accumulate readily. Plan on slick roads from tonight through Tuesday morning
Potential Accumulations By Tuesday Morning:
2-4": Denver, Woodland Park, Monument, Palmer Lake, Black Forest, Air Force Academy, Colorado Springs, Falcon, Peyton, Calhan, Manitou Springs, Canon City, Rye, Beulah, Colorado City, Aguilar, Walsenburg and all of the Wet and Sangre de Cristo Mountains. The higher totals will likely favor northern El Paso & Teller Counties. Also, isolated higher amounts are possible, within the heavier bands.
Dusting to 2": Pueblo, Trinidad and all of the Southeast Plains. Isolated higher amounts are possible, within the heavier bands.
The snow should be done by early Tuesday morning. However, slick roads will likely still exist and cause for a slow Tuesday morning commute. Otherwise, Tuesday should be uneventful and still cold.
