Snowy Start to the Work Week

With the snow all but out of Southern Colorado, travel conditions are much better than earlier this morning. Main roads are pretty much ok, but side streets remain quite slick. With temperatures set to fall into the single digits and lower teens tonight, whatever moisture is on the roads will freeze. Therefore, take it slow tonight and early Tuesday morning as there will be some slick spots. Otherwise, Tuesday should hold a good deal of sunshine and MUCH warmer temperatures.

Before you "forecast" a light dusting of snow, poke your head out of the window and see the heavy accumulations that we are getting. I'll have to use my snow blower on the "dusting" you were calling for this morning.
