Warmer Temps Melt Away Icy Roads

Snow pounded Southern Colorado Monday afternoon through Tuesday morning, making for a messy commute. By early afternoon Tuesday though, the sun is out and snow and ice are melting away.

The afternoon will feature increasing sunshine and diminishing winds. Sunshine won't help temperatures much though, with daytime highs restricted to the 20's and 30's. It'll definitely feel like winter...

The remainder of the week looks pretty quiet, with seasonal temperatures.

Colorado Spgs has a lot of blowing snow north, south, east and west of town..1 to 3 inches is no big deal in a lot of cities..but the blowing snow makes the highways slick and dangerous..depending on your driving experience..Just drive defensively and get there safe..No need to call each other 'idiot',etc.. No need for this road rage going on right here on this web site..Think intelligently.

Colorado City is way south of Pueblo on I-25, not in North Colorado Springs. Look on a map and stop calling people idiots!
