Pollution Advisory For Denver Metro Area
A red pollution advisory is in effect for the seven-county Denver-Boulder metro area.

A red pollution advisory is in effect for the seven-county Denver-Boulder metro area.
State health officials say the region's air quality is poor, or will likely deteriorate during the day.
The red advisory triggers mandatory bans on residential burning, and motorists are urged to reduce driving as much as possible.
The advisory will remain in effect until 4 p.m. today.
Winter air quality advisories will be issued through March 31st.

Parts of Romania have so much snow that it's up to the roofs of houses. As much as 13-16 feet in places, some complain they can't get to their firewood supply. A stretch of the Danube River is frozen as well. Shippers say they are losing millions.
