The Office of Emergency Management has CERT (Citizen Emergency Response Training) classes for family members.
Emergency services personnel may be overwhelmed during the first 72 hours following a major disaster. They may be unable to meet the demands of the community. The size of the affected are, number of victims, loss of communications and road blockages may leave you and your family, neighbors or co-workers to rely on each other for immediate assistance.
2009 Cert Classes
Class is from 8:30am - 5:00pm. Attendance on both days is required to complete the course.
January 17 and 18 (Saturday & Sunday)
March 3 and 4 (Tuesday & Wednesday)
April 4 and 5 (Saturday & Sunday)
May 7 and 8 (Thursday & Friday)
September 26 and October 3 (2 Saturdays)
November 4 and 5 (Wednesday & Thursday)
