Hurricane Norbert has weakened to a strong Category 1 hurricane, with sustained winds of 90 mph. Norbert was once a powerful Category 4 storm, but is moving into an environment less favorable for the storm to maintain itself. Further weakening is expected, but will still give the Baja a good lashing of wind and rain this weekend.
Norbert's remnants will move northeast and impact the central portion of the US, with a good bout of rain.
