More rain is possible Thursday for the eastern plains' town of Yuma, where thunderstorms yesterday dropped about 6 inches of hail and about 3.5 inches of rain in about two hours.
Yuma County Emergency Management Director Roger Brown provided the estimates, while the National Weather Service said official results were not immediately available.
Brown says basements in some homes were flooded and wheat and corn crops were damaged by the storm.
At least two tornadoes were reported in eastern Colorado, but they were short lived and didn't cause any damage. Flooding was also reported in Morgan County.
