Tornado survivors are bracing for another round of thunderstorms and severe weather in the nation's midsection. The National Weather Service says storms are likely in parts of southwest Missouri, and conditions later today could be similar to those that touched off last Saturday's killer tornadoes.
The unsettled weather comes as residents in Oklahoma, Missouri and other states are still cleaning up from the tornadoes that killed 26 people in the Southern Plains and the Southeast.
Federal officials are due to visit some of those areas later today, including FEMA Director David Paulison and Homeland Security Secretary Michael Chertoff.
