Gusty wind, low relative humidities, warm temperatures, and dry fuels will all combine to produce high fire danger on Wednesday. Red Flag Warning goes into effect at Noon and lasts until 8pm. Several tornadoes touched down in Colorado Monday afternoon, as strong storms rolled through the state.
According to the National Weather Service, four tornadoes briefly touched down in northeast Colorado, near Deer Trail, Agate and in Morgan County.
A shed in Morgan County was destroyed as a result. There have not been any other reports of damage.
Storms also dumped rain and hail all over the state, sparking several Severe Thunderstorm Warnings Monday.
Tuesday is looking much drier. The next best chance for rain will be late Wednesday night and Thursday as a disturbance moves through.
