The Black sea off the coast of Odessa is frozen. An extremely rare event. The last time it happened was in 1977. Listen carefully and you can hear the ice creaking. In some places the ice is a foot and a half thick.
The Weather Channel's Stephanie Abrams takes a look at video from the International Space Station as it flew over North America, from Texas all the way to Canada.
This time lapse video was put together by NASA from video taken from 225 miles above Earth on board the International Space Station.
Kristen Will and Samantha Stuart of Yellowknife in the Northwest Territories of Canada wanted to see what happens to a cup of boiling water when temperatures reached -22.
