11 Weather Forecast
Sarah Schwabe
Saturday, February 11th
It will be a raw start to the weekend. Low clouds, fog, snow showers, and light freezing drizzle should persist throughout the day. High temperatures will only manage the 20s. Most areas east of the mountains will remain "socked in" through early Sunday morning.
So, the three main concerns through early Sunday morning are as follows:
1. Temps will be very cold. High humidity will make it feel even colder.
2. Areas of locally dense fog will lead to poor visibility for travelers east of the mountains.
3. Pockets of freezing drizzle and/or light snow will likely lead to some icy spots on the roads (again, east of the mountains).
Drier air is set to move in from the west by Sunday afternoon, leading to improving sky conditions and SLIGHTLY warmer temperatures. Areas south and southwest of Pueblo might end up MUCH warmer by day's end.
At this point, most of next week is looking quiet and seasonably cool.
