Lieutenant Colonel Guy Glad is a Chaplain with the 7th ID out of Fort Carson.
His daughter tells us he volunteered to go to Iraq to be with his soldiers.
She says she's amazed by his self sacrificing attitude and proud to call him her father, and her best friend.
