Next Tuesday, voters in one of Southern Colorado's fastest growing districts will decide on Ballot Question 3B. In our voter guide, enrollment in Pueblo School District 70 has increased by more than 2,000 students in just the past five years.
Bond Question 3B requests $29.9 million worth of improvements. That would be an average tax increase of about $46 a year for a $100,000 home, or an average of $4 per month.
The money would bring plumbing, electrical and mechanical systems to code compliance. It would also provide air conditioners to older schools, add two new elementary schools and expand Pueblo West High School
