First lady Michelle Obama spent time with victims of last month's Aurora shooting while in the Denver area for a campaign fundraiser Saturday.
While in town, Obama thanked 30 doctors, nurses and other staff at the Medical Center of Aurora, which treated a number of the 58 wounded in the rampage. She then met with several victims and their families, including one still in the hospital's ICU.
The total visit reportedly lasted more than an hour.
Obama later made an appearance at the Museum of Contemporary Art in Denver for her husband's campaign fundraiser. The president was in Colorado for a four-city tour earlier in the week.
