The New Horizons Band of Colorado Springs is gearing up for another excellent Spring Concert. The place is Cheyenne Mountain High School at 1200 Cresta Road and the date is March 21st at 7:30 PM. Come and join us for a great musical evening!
The Concert Band will play music ranging from the ever-beautiful FIRE OF ETERNAL GLORY by Dmitri Shostakovich to Dvorak’s Symphony No 9, and the well-known and novel FIDGETY FEET. Following intermission-entertainment by a Thomas Tabrah Jazz ensemble, the 90-member Symphonic Band will perform an ambitious program during which they will feature Brian Norris, Bassoonist, performing TONADILLAS SUITE BY Enrique Granados and Joan Kuehn, Pianist, who will be making another guests appearance as the band plays SUITE FROM THE DARK KNIGHT and SONGS OF JOY.
