1ST ANNUAL ACTON CHILDREN'S BUSINESS FAIR IN COLORADO SPRINGS

Event Dates and Times

9/23/2017 - Starts: 11:00 AM - Ends: 3:00 PM
51 Widefield Blvd, Security CO 80911
Vince & Candance Toscano, local business owners of Toscano Interiors and Harper Grace Children’s Consignment, cordially invites you to the 1st Annual Acton Business Children's Fair, in Security- at 2pm, Saturday the 23rd of September 2017.

The Acton Business Children’s Fair, kids create a product or service, develop a brand, build a marketing strategy, and then open for customers at this one-day marketplace. The children are responsible for the setup, sales, and interacting with customers, and any parent seen selling to the customer or promoting the child’s product will result in disqualification from the competition.

One previous competitor from 2009, Makaila Ulmer of Bee Sweet Lemonade, now 10 years old, will be on hand to promote other children in their business efforts. Mikaila’s Bee Sweet Lemonade is now sold in Whole Foods Market here in Texas as a result of her young business savvy.

This event is sponsored by Acton Academy, the Acton School of Business, and the generous support of our donors and volunteers, who all believe that principled entrepreneurs are heroes and role models for the next generation.

Whether an entrepreneur is famous, like Elon Musk or Oprah Winfrey, or one of the thousands of unsung business owners across this country, these entrepreneurs are the people who make sacrifices to innovate, create jobs, and serve their communities.

“Today’s youth are tomorrow’s business innovators and leaders. The Children’s Business Fair gives students the opportunity to spread their entrepreneurial wings and get a head start on promising business careers,” said Jeff Sandefer, founder of the Acton School of Business, one of the sponsors of the fair.

Cash prizes of $50 will be awarded in each of the four age groups (6-7, 8-10, 11-12, and 13-14) for “Most Business Potential,” “Most Creative Idea,” and “Most Impressive Presentation.”

Both adult sponsors and shockingly articulate kids are available for interviews on camera or off.

For more information, please contact Candance Toscano at candance@toscanointeriors.com and to confirm your attendance or for further details please contact me at 719-287-4274. You can also get more information about the Acton Business Children’s Fair by visiting https://www.childrensbusinessfair.org/
