KKTV is looking for a Meteorologist to be a part of our strong weather team. We are the Breaking Weather leaders in our market, and many times weather will lead our newscasts. This person should have on-air experience, knowledge of how to forecast the weather, have severe weather experience, and have knowledge of how to use a computer graphics system to construct a show (Weather Central preferred but not necessary). Additionally, you should be flexible to scheduling changes, and have the desire to be actively involved in all of our strong social media platforms including Southern Colorado’s #1 webchannel, KKTV.com Our 11 Weather Class program is constantly involved in our area schools. The ideal candidate will be a participant in this program playing a large role in educating the kids of Southern Colorado when it comes to weather.
