Branden has served as the Morning Meteorologist since June 2006. Prior to arriving in Colorado, Branden spent 5 years working as a meteorologist for WBAY and WFRV in his hometown, Green Bay, WI.
Before returning home, he was the morning weather anchor for KCAU in Sioux City, IA from 1999-2001. Branden began his career in 1998 wearing multiple hats, serving as a weather anchor, news anchor, and news reporter for stations in Twin Falls, ID and Rapid City, SD. Branden holds the Seal of Approval from the American Meteorological Society as well as the National Weather Association.
When he’s not busy forecasting Southern Colorado’s ever-changing weather, Branden enjoys spending time with his wife, Katie, and two beagles, Barnaby and Bailey. Branden also spends as much free time as possible working out or participating in some sort of sporting activity, whether it’s golf, hoops, or racquetball. Coming from Green Bay, it should also come as no surprise that he’s a HUGE Packers Fan (unless they’re facing the Broncos!)

We’re all busy, so I know there might be some mornings when you don’t have time to catch my forecast on 11 News This Morning. If so, you can always get an updated forecast by paying a quick visit to our 11 Weather Facebook Page. I think you’ll find this to be a great resource when you’re running short on time in the morning. I think you’ll also find this to be an excellent resource during times of bad weather. Please, feel free to post your severe weather reports and photos of severe weather to our 11 Weather Facebook Page. While Doppler radar is an invaluable tool, your report of what is happening “on the ground” helps us tell the whole story. I look forward to hearing from you!
