Mindy joined the 11 News Team in October of 2003 as the Pueblo Bureau Chief. She was promoted to Sports Anchor/Reporter in July of 2005. Then, she went back to the News Department in August of 2007 as a general assignment reporter.
Before moving to Southern Colorado, Mindy spent two years at KHGI-TV in Kearney, Nebraska. She split her time as a news and sports reporter, and as a fill-in sports anchor.
She began her career at KOMU-TV in Columbia, Missouri where she was a reporter and morning sports anchor.
Mindy graduated from the University of Missouri in 2001 with a degree in Broadcast Journalism and a minor in Sociology. During her time at Mizzou, Mindy interned at WGN in Chicago. She also completed a Public Relations internship with the San Diego Chargers.
Both her parents are Mizzou grads…Mindy is following in her father’s footsteps. Her dad is a sportscaster in San Diego.
Mindy married her husband Kevin in August of 2008. The newlyweds enjoying traveling and spending time with their friends and family.
