Stephanie Ross joined the KKTV 11 news team as a general assignment reporter in August of 2006.
She started her career in Grand Junction, Colorado at KKCO 11 News. There she worked as a one man band, shooting, writing, and editing all of her own stories. Stephanie has lived in Colorado most of her life and considers herself lucky to be able to continue to work and live in this beautiful state. She grew up in Centennial, where her parents, brother and sister still live, and she is thrilled to be back on the front range where she can be close to her family.
A graduate of Colorado State University, she received a double major in Technical Journalism and Speech Communications in 2005. She also interned at KMGH Channel 7 in Denver for a summer prior to her graduation.
Stephanie loves the outdoors, hiking and skiing and looks forward to exploring the beauty of Colorado Springs. She also likes to spend time with her family, her friends and her dog Domino.
She is passionate about her job and loves the high paced, ever changing world of news. She says that she couldn't imagine doing anything else and looks forward to making a difference in the community with her work.
