Gina Esposito started at KKTV 11 News in January 2014 as the Pueblo bureau reporter.
Before KKTV, Gina worked as a reporter for KJCT News 8 in Grand Junction, Colo. She fell in love with the beautiful sites and felt she couldn’t leave the great state of Colorado just yet.
Originally from the San Francisco Bay Area, Gina attended San Jose State University and earned a degree in Broadcast Journalism. She worked as an anchor/reporter for SJSU’s Update News. She served as the vice president for Radio-Television-Digital-News-Assocation (RTDNA). Gina also had the amazing opportunity to intern at KTVU Channel 2 News, San Francisco’s top news station. At KTVU, Gina shadowed Emmy winning reporters.
Before getting into the news business, Gina worked as an educational leadership consultant for a national sorority. As a professional consultant, she traveled to more than 15 states, and visited nearly 20 universities across the country. This experience strengthen Gina’s passion storytelling and opened up her mind to different parts of the country.
