While in Lincoln, Karen worked as a reporter and weekend producer. Karen says the thing she likes best about reporting is having the chance to cover something new each day. "I am lucky to work in a field where every day is an opportunity to meet some one new," She said.
Karen is a Delta, Colo. native and graduated from Colorado State University with a degree in journalism in 2008.
During her time at CSU Karen interned at KWGN in Denver and was a student reporter/anchor for CTV.
Karen is excited to be working back home in Colorado close to family and friends again. She enjoys running, hiking, playing volleyball, volunteering, watching the Rockies play and a good barbecue.
