John Harding is a familiar face to Southern Colorado viewers. He first anchored the morning and noon news at KKTV in the late 1990’s. He then worked as an anchor/reporter at KTHV-TV in Little Rock, Arkansas and WTSP-TV in Tampa, Florida before returning to KKTV in 2007. He began his career in Fayetteville, Arkansas.
His career includes coverage of many major stories affecting Colorado and the nation. They include the Arkansas Whitewater trials of Clinton associates, the Columbine shootings, and the Terri Schiavo “right to die” case in Florida. He’s interviewed two sitting presidents, a number of high-profile political leaders, and A-list celebrities.
John is active in the community, volunteering his time to a number of local non-profit agencies and charities. He serves as a board member of Starlight Children’s Foundation of Colorado.
He is a graduate of the University of Arkansas and enjoys fly fishing in Colorado’s pristine waterways in his limited down time. He and his wife, and their three children have called the Pikes Peak Region home since 2004.
