John Harding is a familiar face to Southern Colorado viewers. He first anchored the morning and noon news at KKTV in the late 1990’s and returned to the station in 2007.

His broadcasting career began in 1995, has covered a number of major stories which have affected Colorado and the nation. His career has also included work at WTSP-TV in Tampa, Florida, KTHV-TV in Little Rock, Arkansas, and KHOG-TV in Fayetteville, Arkansas.

He’s covered a variety of high profile stories, including the Arkansas Whitewater trials of Clinton associates, the Columbine shootings while in Colorado, and most recently, the Terri Schiavo “right to die” case in Florida. He’s interviewed two presidents, a number of top name national political leaders, and celebrities.

John is active in the community, volunteering his time to a number of local non-profit agencies. He is also a board member of Starlight Children’s Foundation of Colorado.

He is a graduate of the University of Arkansas and enjoys fly fishing in Colorado’s pristine waterways in his limited down time. He and his wife, and their three children have called the Pikes Peak Region home since 2004.
