Danielle was born and raised in the San Fernando Valley in Southern California. This is her first time living away from the west coast, and she's ready for some snow! Before joining the 11 news team, Danielle worked as a reporter for KEZI News in Eugene, Oregon and was the Redding bureau chief reporter for KHSL/KNVN TV in Chico, California. Her most memorable story was flying with the Snow Birds' stunt pilots for Redding's Air Show.
In college, Danielle broke into broadcast journalism while attending San Francisco State University. It was there where Danielle interned at the news and sports desks at KPIX-TV (CBS) in San Francisco, and got some key advice from Walter Cronkite. During an interview with the news legend for her college newscast, Cronkite advised Danielle to "always be true to yourself, admit when you make a mistake, and don't let anyone talk you out of it." Danielle says she keeps this message with her everyday.
After graduating in 2004, Danielle headed back home to Los Angeles where she got her start by freelance reporting for Us Weekly magazine.
Between her time spent at Us Weekly and interning at E! News, Danielle has interviewed every celebrity from Jessica Simpson and Paris Hilton to Angelina Jolie and Morgan Freeman.
When Danielle is not name-dropping or covering Pueblo's newstories, you can find her thinking about wanting to maybe exercise.
