Don’t have time to squeeze in a full workout today? Here are a few ideas to effortlessly sneak in more movement throughout your day!
-ALWAYS take the stairs when you have the chance
-Park in the back of the parking lot instead of wasting time circling for the front spaces!
-Make your phone calls standing up and do calf raises while talking
-Instead of emailing/calling your co worker, walk to their desk and talk face to face
-Make a conscious effort to suck in your abs tight throughout the day
-Perform squats while brushing your teeth
-Bring in your grocery bags one at a time so you are taking multiple trips
-Stuck at your desk? Tap your foot. It may not seem like much, but after your doing for hours the movement will add up!
-Get a pedometer and count your steps throughout the day and challenge yourself to get more each day
-Do crunches during the commercial breaks of your favorite shows
These are just a few ideas to get you started. Get creative with your own daily routines and add things to the list as you find more sneaky exercise opportunities!
