Jalen Kinloch is back home after a long battle to walk again.
The Fountain-Fort Carson High School baseball player, who broke his neck in a freak accident back on March 15, was discharged on Thursday from Craig Hospital in Denver after two months of intense rehabilitation that included learning to walk again.
Kinloch's injury was sustained when he collided with a teammate while trying to catch a fly ball in practice. He was airlifted by helicopter to Memorial Hospital for surgery before being transferred to Craig Hospital for his rehabilitation and recovery.
Kinloch's return home to Fountain comes just in time for his high school graduation on Saturday.
