Air Academy will play for 4A Baseball title

LAKEWOOD, Colo. - The Air Academy baseball team has a chance to win the school it's fourth State Title in a one week span.

The Kadets defeated the Cheyenne Mountain Indians on Friday at All-Star Park 6-2 to earn a shot at the 4A Title against Broomfield on Saturday.

Last Saturday the Air Academy boys swim team won the 4A State Title while both the girl's soccer team and girl's lacrosse team won State Title's on Wednesday. The Air Academy girl's basketball team also won the 4A Championship back in March.

Air Academy would have to beat Broomfield twice on Saturday to claim the crown. Broomfield has not lost yet in the State Tournament.

Canon City's season also came to an end in a 5-4 loss against Broomfield on Friday at All-Star Park.
