LAKEWOOD, Colo. - Air Academy forced a decisive game by defeating Broomfield 3-2 in the early game on Saturday but were not able to top the Eagles a second time in the 4A State Baseball Championship game.
Broomfield took game two from Air Academy 12-4 at All-Star Park in Lakewood.
Air Academy had won three other state titles in the previous week. The Kadets Boys Swim Team won last Saturday and the Girl's Soccer and Girl's Lacrosse teams both won State Titles on Wednesday.
