Updated: 06/05/2009 - After last night’s 16-8 victory over the Fresno Grizzlies, the Colorado Rockies announced that Sky Sox centerfielder and top prospect Carlos Gonzalez was called up to the big leagues. Gonzalez had started that night’s game and gone 1-for-4 with a run scored before being pinch-hit for in the eighth inning. To make room for Gonzalez on the Rockies 25-man roster, the Rockies optioned down outfielder Matt Murton.
