PUEBLO, Colo. (GoThunderWolves.com – May 30, 2014) — Registrations are now being taken for the Colorado State University-Pueblo ThunderGals Open golf fundraising event to be held at Desert Hawk Golf Course on Friday, June 27.
The event will begin with an 11 a.m. golf clinic put on by CSU-Pueblo Director of Golf Josh Koschke, PGA Apprentices Chad Novak and Loran Richmeier and members of the CSU-Pueblo men's and women's golf teams. Lunch will then be served at noon before a 1 p.m. 4-Lady scramble with a 1 p.m. shotgun start.
An awards session and silent auction event will then follow play.
The cost of the event is $100 per lady or $400 per team and includes cart and green fees, the golf clinic, lunch and a special ladies tee prize. Only amateur players are allowed to compete.
To sign up, players should complete the registration form and return it to CSU-Pueblo Director of Athletic Development Racheal Morris.
All of the proceeds from the event will the Pack women's golf team's scholarship fund which helps recruit quality female student-athletes to the program which has won two of the last three Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference titles.
