U.S. AIR FORCE ACADEMY, Colo. – The Mountain West released the additional 15 football games set for the ESPN Networks and Air Force will be featured three more times in the 2013 season. Eleven of the 12 Air Force football games will be on national television with six of those games being on the ESPN Networks. While additional details on some early-season games may be announced in the coming weeks, kick times and specific networks for most of the remaining contests will be determined during the course of the season (generally a 12-day window).
Today’s announcement is another under a new agreement with ESPN as the second Mountain West national television rights holder for Conference-controlled football games. In total, 22 MW football games will air on ABC, ESPN, ESPN2, ESPNU or ESPN3 this coming season.
Air Force’s games against Wyoming (Sept. 21), Army (Nov. 2) and Colorado State (Nov. 30) will be televised on the ESPN Networks. Game times and specific network will be released at a later date.
