COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. - Tuesday night’s game between the Colorado Springs Sky Sox (45-64) and the Nashville Sounds (59-51) has been postponed because of rain.
The game will be made up Wednesday, July 30th as part of doubleheader with the first game beginning at 12:35 p.m. (MT). Both contests will be seven-inning games. LHP Pedro Hernandez (6-6, 6.14 ERA) will start the first game, with RHP Brett Tomko (2-3, 6.16 ERA) getting the starting nod for game two. For the Sounds, RHP Mike Fiers (8-5, 2.62 ERA) will start game one, while RHP Taylor Jungmann (5-5, 5.13 ERA) starts game two.
Tickets for tonight’s game are considered rain checks, and can be exchanged for any other 2014 Sky Sox regular season home game, based upon availability. Tickets can be exchanged at the box office during regular business hours.
