Sandoval headlines pre-season All-American selections

PUEBLO, Colo. - CSU-Pueblo return specialist and wide receiver Josh Sandoval (Sr., Pueblo, Colo.) headlined CSU-Pueblo's pre-season All-America selections released by the Beyond Sports College Network Thursday.
Sandoval, a return specialist and starting wide receiver for the ThunderWolves, is a two-time All-American who is trying to become the only three-time All-American in CSU-Pueblo football history in 2013. CSU-Pueblo's career leader in punt return yardage, touchdowns and punt return average, he is also on track to finish his collegiate career as one of the top punt returners in the history of NCAA Division II.
Sandoval, who earned second-team pre-season All-America honors by the Beyond Sports Network, was joined by J.B. Mathews (Jr., Aurora, Colo.) on the squad. Mathews garnered third-team honors.
The Beyond Sports College Network pre-season All-America teams are the first of several such pre-season Division II teams to be released.
