SKY SOX SET SINGLE-SEASON ATTENDANCE RECORD

COLORADO SPRINGS, CO – The Colorado Springs Sky Sox Baseball Club welcomed 7,630 fans through the gates Tuesday night against El Paso and in the process set a new single-season attendance record. The 344,523 fans to enter Security Service Field so far in 2014 surpass the previous record figure of 339,009 fans set back in 2011. The Sky Sox reached the record in 68 openings and still have one more opening remaining in 2014 to add to the record total.

Monthly breakdown of attendance figures for the 2014 season:

● April – 35,806
● May – 83,802
● June – 83,853
● July – 67,579
● August – 73,483

The top ten attendance dates of the 2014 season:

● 8,891 – August 23rd
● 8,885 – May 3rd
● 8,813 – July 3rd
● 8,808 – August 24th
● 8,785 – July 2nd
● 8,658 – June 26th
● 8,282 – June 27th
● 8,021 – June 10th
● 7,630 – August 26th
● 7,573 – June 28th
