COLORADO SPRINGS, CO – Baseball season is almost here and the Sky Sox are happy to announce that individual game tickets for all of the team’s 72 home games are on sale, on the Sky Sox website only, today Monday, March 17th. Box seats are $13.00 and Reserved Seats are $10.00. Season ticket packages start as low as $60 and include many of the biggest and best promotions of the summer. Tickets can be purchased online only at this time by visiting the Sky Sox website at www.skysox.com. Phone orders and in person box office orders will be available in the coming weeks.
The Colorado Springs Sky Sox open their 2014 regular season home schedule on Friday, April 11th at 6:35 PM versus the Round Rock Express, the Triple-A affiliate of the Texas Rangers, as they begin an eight-game home stand.
Highlighting the 2014 promotional calendar are a whopping 18 fireworks shows, the most in Sky Sox history! In addition to the Sky Sox’ popular Friday Fireworks series (13 Fridays in total), the team will also have fireworks during the Independence Holiday Week on July 2nd and the perennial sell out game on Thursday, July 3rd, and select Saturdays throughout the year. Saturday fireworks shows will include entertaining themes with live character appearances and performances including Star Wars on June 28, Star Trek on July 26, and Batman on August 23 for Sky Fest, the biggest fireworks show of the year.
Fans will also want to secure their tickets for major events like Opening Weekend (April 11-13), Used Car Night on Saturday, July 12th, Todd Helton miniature statue giveaway on Saturday, August 9th, and Sox the Fox Bobblehead on Saturday, May 31st. In addition to these major event nights, the Sky Sox will also be welcoming back their popular day-of-the-week promotions including nine Kids Eat Free Mondays, eight $2 Tuesdays, nine $3 Craft Brew Thursdays and eleven 50¢ hot dog Sundays.
