The Colorado Rockies (14-12-4) limited the Chicago White Sox (8-13-5) to just three hits at Camelback Ranch as they defeated them, 4-1…Colorado got off to a fast start with a two-run first inning…they opened up the game with three consecutive hits from Drew Stubbs (double), DJ LeMahieu (single) and Michael Cuddyer (single), in which both Stubbs and LeMahieu would score…Juan Nicasio took over from there as he pitched 5.0 hitless innings and struck out seven and walked just one before the bullpen would finish off the game…Colorado added two runs in the fifth, highlighted by Jordan Pacheco’s second home run of the spring season…Chad Bettis allowed the White Sox’s only run, which was also his first run allowed all spring, in the sixth inning…Matt Belisle, Chris Martin, Brooks Brown and Greg Burke closed out the game.

The Rockies will head to Scottsdale Stadium tomorrow to take on the San Francisco Giants at 2:05 p.m. MDT.
